First public Jaguar F-Type crash arrives courtesy of magazine test

The Jaguar F-Type, the sports car that's the successor to the famous Jaguar E-Type, has a few months yet before it enters full production and already one's suffered a wheel-breaking crash — apparently at the hands of a journalist.

According to the British PistonHeads forum, the F-Type above was taking part in a comparison with two other cars when the journalist at the wheel let things go a bit wobbly and the car nicked into a stone wall. No one was injured, but damage that severe to even a pre-production car will take a sizable bite out of the public relations budget in Jaguar's homeland.
