McLaren’s founder remembered in touching video tribute

In the rush of expensive silliness ahead of this year's Super Bowl, much of it sponsored by the global auto industry, it's gratifying to see one company spend more than 30 seconds talking about its real history without the use of starlets or babies in spacesuits. Bruce McLaren died before his name became synonymous with performance cars, yet this short film made by McLaren to mark the 50th anniversary of its founding does more to explain the allure of speed in the name of science than most full-length movies on the subject.
