On Tuesday, we posted an audio recording of a mystery car’s exhaust note. To hear it again, listen to the recording embedded below. Almost everyone who commented figured out that this week’s sound came from the 2013 SRT Viper GTS‘s ten-cylinder engine, but kudos to those of you who guessed that it was a five-cylinder. Because the Viper’s exhaust doesn’t cross over underneath the cabin—each outlet is routed directly from one cylinder bank—occupants predominantly hear what sounds like only half of the V-10′s cylinders at any given time.
