On Monday, we presented this week’s shifter and asked you to identify the make and model of the vehicle whence it came. Despite our best efforts to throw you guys off the trail with a little blur action and a black-and-white photo filter, commenter Ogre correctly identified the shifter as a Morgan Three-Wheeler‘s. Ogre will receive a Save the Manuals button and sticker as a reward.
The Three-Wheeler pictured here is from Morgan’s press-photo database. A redux of Morgan’s classic three-wheeled conveyance, the modern Three-Wheeler was re-introduced to the world two years ago. It is powered by a modern 115-hp S&S V-twin motorcycle engine working through a Mazda-sourced five-speed manual transmission. The rest of the Three-Wheeler is pure, classic Morgan: Retro to the hilt. In case you were curious, yes, it can perform wicked burnouts.
